Baby Riley

Like many of us, I've been going through a rollercoaster of emotions lately, dealing with the news, homeschooling, and feelings of isolation. Looking at these images, I am brought back to the most pure and essential emotion: love. A love that you never knew existed until tiny fingers gripped onto your pinky, or a shy smile curved from little lips. A love that will grow deeper every day between two sisters. This is what it's all about.

Lacey and Jonathan, for many reasons this time in your lives may feel like a blur looking back. I'm so glad we documented this sweet girl and the family that surrounds her with so much love every day.

Miles is ONE!

I seriously love this family- they were meant for photos! Besides being ridiculously beautiful, these kids have stamina like I've never seen. Just when I thought Miles was completely done with me, he would rally for another awesome pose and flash that handsome smile. I've loved every session with this family since we started 4 years ago.

Ashli and Nick- you guys make some beautiful babies. Go for 3!! Thank you for trusting me to capture Sophie and Miles' first years. Enjoy!

Baby Olivia

I've said it before but it never gets old. One of my favorite things to witness in a family is when an only child becomes a big brother or sister. There is always an element of unpredictability mixing a quiet, sleepy baby with it's counterpart: a non-stop excitable toddler! But the instant love and bond that exists between siblings is always there. Baby Olivia was so patient and relaxed through the whole session. Seriously, a dream baby! 

Katie and Robert, thank you for inviting me back to your home to capture this exciting new phase for your family. You are making it look too easy!! 

The Ricksgers Family

It was great meeting back up with this fun family and their furry babies. Working with dogs is always a little unpredictable but these 2 pups nailed it! This wasn't their first rodeo, but I was still very impressed at some of the "poses" they struck! This family is so beautiful, inside and out. I love checking in each year to see how much the kids have grown up and I am always amazed at the difference 1 year can make!

The Langan Family

It's always a treat when I get to photograph my close friends! It allows me to get a little deeper and capture real, genuine emotion. This family did not disappoint! After the traditional shots, I love seeing families relax so I can capture the more playful interactions. Shooting in their beautiful home, surrounded by their favorites things adds so much personality to the photos, and I love that they will look back and see those details in the background exactly as they are right now.

Thomas is ONE!

It's hard to believe as I write this that I was taking this little dude's newborn pictures a whole year ago!! Isn't it amazing the things that can change in just one year?! Thomas and big sister Charlotte were such a treat for me to capture on this balmy "fall" morning. Despite the heat, they both cozied up to mom and dad for some super sweet snuggles.

Kemper and Kevin, you guys have one precious family and I am honored to be able to capture life as it is for you today :)

Miles: 6 Months old!

The six month milestone session is one of my all time favs, especially when there's a big sister like Sophie to love on baby brother! I don't usually get sleepy pictures at this age, but Miles just needed a little power nap halfway through the session and then popped up and was ready for round 2! Rockstar! I've loved all my sessions with this sweet family, but I have to say, this is one of the best!
