The Ricksgers Family

It was great meeting back up with this fun family and their furry babies. Working with dogs is always a little unpredictable but these 2 pups nailed it! This wasn't their first rodeo, but I was still very impressed at some of the "poses" they struck! This family is so beautiful, inside and out. I love checking in each year to see how much the kids have grown up and I am always amazed at the difference 1 year can make!

The Langan Family

It's always a treat when I get to photograph my close friends! It allows me to get a little deeper and capture real, genuine emotion. This family did not disappoint! After the traditional shots, I love seeing families relax so I can capture the more playful interactions. Shooting in their beautiful home, surrounded by their favorites things adds so much personality to the photos, and I love that they will look back and see those details in the background exactly as they are right now.

Thomas is ONE!

It's hard to believe as I write this that I was taking this little dude's newborn pictures a whole year ago!! Isn't it amazing the things that can change in just one year?! Thomas and big sister Charlotte were such a treat for me to capture on this balmy "fall" morning. Despite the heat, they both cozied up to mom and dad for some super sweet snuggles.

Kemper and Kevin, you guys have one precious family and I am honored to be able to capture life as it is for you today :)

Miles: 6 Months old!

The six month milestone session is one of my all time favs, especially when there's a big sister like Sophie to love on baby brother! I don't usually get sleepy pictures at this age, but Miles just needed a little power nap halfway through the session and then popped up and was ready for round 2! Rockstar! I've loved all my sessions with this sweet family, but I have to say, this is one of the best! 

Ashli and Nick, thank you for having me back to your beautiful home to capture this fun and playful milestone. He is one cute baby!!

James: 8 Months Old!

It just doesn't get much better than a chubby baby rolling around in a diaper!! That drooly smile and big 'ole belly- I mean, come on!! I just couldn't keep my hands off him. I'm glad Brooke and Sean are such good friends, or they might have thought the stolen kisses on his neck were a little much...

These images make me so happy! To see his adorable handsome face, to see my friends as parents and to see the genuine love pouring out of them and into their beautiful baby boy just makes my heart happy :)

Connor is 9 Months Old!

I just love these real-life images from Connor's 9 Month shoot. Most parents of young children know all too well the chaos that follows little ones throughout the day. But even during this busy time, there is beauty and love everywhere. In the little moments when she grabs her brothers hand, or the times he shyly buries his head in mom's chest. They are fleeting, but they're there.

Baby Paxton

I'm so excited to share these images from Paxton's first session! This little cutie came in hot!  He was just too excited to meet his sweet mom, dad and big sister. I always say this but watching the first child transform into a big brother or sister is one of my favorite things! Grace is already embracing her role and nailing it! Sweet Baby Paxton was so cool and collected. Even though he didn't sleep much, he was happy to hang with me and contently look around at his new home.

Mary Elizabeth and Robb, congratulations on all the exciting changes this year! He is precious and I can't wait for our next session!
