Baby Grayson

They say you forget how small newborns really are, since that phase is over so quickly. When I had Nolan, I was sure I'd never forget the way he fit easily in my two hands, or those sheep-like noises he made. Now, as I chase him around the house, it's hard to imagine those things. Luckily, being a newborn photographer allows me to re-live those too short memories again and again. And I love it!

Baby Grayson was the perfect reminder of how tiny newborns really are. As much as I tried to pull his little arms and feet out, he quickly tucked them back in and curled up as tight as he could, making himself even smaller. Although he never got into a deep sleep for me, it was obvious he was most comfortable and relaxed while snuggled up in mommy's arms.

Liz and Tyler, it was an honor for me to be there for some of Grayson's first moments and capture how sweet and perfect he is. One day when you're chasing him around the house, I hope these images will remind you of how tiny he once was!

Ryan + Cassidy

After 3 years, it was such a treat to go back and see the Taylor family. Little Ryan wasn't even old enough to sit up last time I saw him, and this time, he was proud to help his little sister with the task. Besides Cassidy's big brown eyes and radiant smile, my favorite thing to capture was the sweet innocent love between the two siblings. Pure joy!

Jessica and Chris, it truly was a pleasure reconnecting with your sweet family. Thank you for inviting me in to capture these precious moments! Enjoy!

Baby Mackenzie

The doctor described baby Mackenzie as "perfect" and I have to say, I agree with him! What an angel this little girl is. I don't think I've ever seen a baby with such furry golden hair. Beautiful! She was so good for us and it was easy to see that mom and dad were naturals parents.

Katy and Doug, thank you for warmly welcoming me into your home and allowing me to capture such a precious and fleeting moment in your lives. Enjoy that sweet baby girl!

Baby Grace

What a wonderul way to start the New Year- with a brand new baby girl! It is always such an honor when my clients call me back after several years. I shot Robb and Mary Elizabeth's wedding 4 years ago and now I get to see their family expand! They were both such naturals- so calm around the baby, and it was clear her favorite place was in mom or dad's arms. Robb and Mary Elizabeth, I so enjoyed watching you all interact and capturing some very sweet images of your new baby girl. Enjoy!

Allman Family Mountain Photoshoot

When my friend Lauren approached me about doing a weekend long photoshoot of her extended family out in the mountains I was nervous and excited at the same time. Nervous because there were 8 children aged 3 and under... yikes! Excited because I know how much fun this family is and in a setting as beautiful as Utana Bluffs, there was no way the pictures wouldn't turn out great. I hope they are not disappointed!

To all the Allmans: thank you for having my family and I up to the moutains to capture these timeless photos of your beautiful family. And special thanks to Sarah Hathcock- couldn't do it without you!

Anna Clay + Madeleine

Since becoming a mom, I have realized how rare pictures of me and my baby are! As moms, we are always behind the scenes, primping and trying to make them laugh, lugging snacks, sippy cups, a change of clothes... we are the work horses! It was so nice to focus on this adorable mom and her baby, Madeleine. It was fun to witness that strong bond between a mother and daughter and I'm so glad they stopped to capture these sweet, silly, and loving moments. We all know how fast the years go by so I'm honored to be able to freeze time, even if just for a second. Thank you for that opportunity Anna Clay!

The Oliver Family

As usual, I had the best time hanging out with the Olivers in beautiful downtown Norcross. As if Carter and Cole couldn't be any cuter, they both wore baby bow ties! I have to say they are definitely up there on the list for best dressed family. Drea and Jason, thanks for spending the time to capture your sweet family, and trusting me with those precious memories!
