Carter is 1!

It was so much fun capturing the cute and curious personality of Carter. Every one-year-old is tickled and delighted by different things and for Carter, it was his mom's beatboxing! He was so busy that he barely had time to notice me, but when his mom started making noise, he could barely contain himself! I love seeing the excitement in his eyes. Not to mention- how amazing is his hair?!

Drea and Jason, thanks for having me capture such a fun time in Carter's life. Things change so fast and now he is a big brother! Stay tuned for baby Cole's close-ups!

Marsh Family

If it hadn't been for my friend Jen, I never would have met the adorable Marsh Family and their scrumptious baby girl. Madeleine has the most crystal blue eyes I've ever seen and it was so fun watching them light up as she played with mommy and daddy. She is definitely daddy's girl cause no matter how many silly things I did, the best smiles only came out when he sang her favorite song: "Daddies love daughters, daughters love daddies...!" Oh yeah, she's already got him wrapped around those chubby little fingers.

Megan and John, it was so fun meeting you both and spending time with sweet little Madeleine. And thanks, Jen, for having the great idea to purchase their session for their baby shower. Enjoy!

Baby Sloan

I absolutely adore these images of sweet teeny tiny baby Sloan! Another sleepy cuddle bug, this little lady took some convincing to open her eyes. She eventually gave in to her daddy's demands and perked up for us to get some great shots of her big baby blues. Whether eyes open or closed, it was obvious her favorite place was curled up in mom or dad's arms.

Catherine and Matthew, thank you so much for inviting me to your home to capture these first moments with your beautiful new daughter. I can already tell you guys are great parents!

Baby Ashton

I'm so excited to share these precious images of Baby Ashton! The sweetest little newborn with the smoothest skin I have ever seen, she was such a good girl for us. In fact, she didn't even care to wake up as I moved her all around. Inside or outside, she was one content little girl. 

Jaci and Jamie, thank you so much for inviting to your home to capture such a special time for you. You guys are doing a great job as parents! Enjoy every minute with sweet baby Ashton.

Byars Family

You might think the idea for working on Mother's Day would be kind of a drag, but hanging out with this fun family was the total opposite! It's easy to see their vibrant personalities and their love of life and each other. Despite the chilly weather, the kids were so sweet to each other and me- I got two of the best hugs ever after the shoot! Looking at these pictures makes me hope my growing family will be as adorable and loving as them.

It was such a treat for me to meet up with my close friends the Joyners and their delicious little boy, Wesley. I did Katie and Greg's engagement pictures what seems like forever ago and while they are still the same crazy kids, they now have one of their own! Wesley is full of spunk and loves life- every day is a new adventure! I had so much fun playing with him and capturing that sly little smile and those big blue eyes.
