Eleanor is ONE!

It was such a treat to see sweet little E in all her ONE year old glory! It took her a sec to wake up (I'm the same way!) but once she did, she was flashing that shy smile and showing off all her tricks: clapping hands, standing up, even taking a few cautious steps! This girl can even play her perfectly pink guitar! Too cute.

Rebecca and Boris- it truly has been my pleasure getting to know you both and Eleanor over the last year. I'm so glad we captured all her important milestones and I hope to keep up with her new adventures in the coming years! Enjoy!

Allenbach Family

I fell in love with the Allenbach family as soon as I met them. Their two sweet girls were timid at first but soon warmed up and revealed their sweet personalities. I think I won them over as well, when I heard "she's nice" with a finger pointing  my way ;) Their new baby sister was a perfect angel. In fact, I don't think I heard a peep out of her the entire time I was there. It was a joy watching this family embrace this new precious life.

Ricksgers Family

Have I mentioned I am LOVING this Fall season? The colors and temperatures have been amazing and so have the families I've gotten to work with! I couldn't get enough of these adorable twins. So alike and yet so different at the same time. I had fun teasing them and prying out some 1st grade secrets. When we were done, they threw their rain boots on and we got to play in the water- what could be more fun than that?!

Furneaux Family

This Fall has been one of the most mild and colorful Fall I can remember. And I am loving every bit of it! This sweet family was perfectly dressed for the season. I could have taken pictures of these two handsome boys all day long! While Lennox couldn't hold on for us the whole time, he made sure to give me some awesome smiles before he conked out. And Big Brother Steale was quite the ham!

Braxton 8 Months

It's hard to believe only 8 months ago I was "baby whispering" in this little guys ear! Little Braxton is growing up and on the move! We have a blast just sitting in his room and playing, capturing the every day moments that with undoubtedly fly by!

Nancy and Mike, so fun to catch up with you guys. Your new home is beautiful and so is your sweet little man. Can't wait for the birthday shoot!

Sophie is 6 Months!

It's always fun to check in after the newborn photos and see how much babies have changed. Little miss Sophie sure had changed a lot and acquired some new skills like sitting and laughing. One thing that didn't change was her love (and amazing cooperation) for photoshoots! She lasted longer and gave me more grins than most 6 month olds are capable of. I love this little rock star!

Ashli and Nick, you're doing good work. Sophie is one gorgeous and happy girl. Can't wait for the birthday shoot!

The Miller Triplets- Senior Portraits!

I had a blast hanging out with this lively bunch in West Midtown. I loved watching the dynamic between these three totally different yet intrinsically connected personalities. Each one of them brought their own unique charm- Annabelle was cool calm and collected. Joey had that fun loving sparkle in his eye. And Jillian, the fashionista was rocking the runway poses. The cool textures and beautiful sunset light was the perfect backdrop for this animated trio.

Jonna and Ted, Thank you for giving me the opportunity to capture this exciting time for you guys and the triplets. I wish you all good luck with everything coming your way!

And then there were 3!

I have been taking pictures for the Eckerts for almost 4 years now! It's so fun getting to watch families grow and transform. From nervous new parents to seasoned veterans, this mom and dad aren't phased by anything anymore! It's clear this new family of 5 is already finding their groove and making it look easy! Maybe I'll take the leap and join you one day ;)

Baby Claire

It was great to finally meet little miss Claire! After getting everything set up just perfect and waiting for her to fall asleep, I gently laid her in my cozy little "nest" and what did she do? Instant huge smile! We were off to a good start! It was smooth sailing after that as I clicked away, capturing every detail of this sweet tiny girl. Her delicate eyelashes, sleepy yawns, and peaceful expressions were just perfection.

The Hillers!

It was such a treat to meet all the members of the Hiller Family! With a large age span between the oldest and youngest, it was fun watching all the different dynamics. My two younger sisters are 12 and 14 years behind me so I know how much that gap can change and affect the family... in the best way! The little ones tend to bring out the fun in the bigger ones. I was so impressed at the everyone's stylish and cohesive look. This mama put some hard work into pre-planning and it totally payed off!

Baby Beau!

I couldn't wait to get my hands on Beau, my good friend Betsy's new main squeeze! And that's about all I wanted to do- squeeze those cheeks! What a sweetie. I loved getting to spend some time with them during those intimate first days as new parents. Such a big adjustment, but these two are handling it like pros. So excited to watch this little man grow up!

Betsy and Trey- you've done good. And btw, Betsy, at 10 days post partum, you look like a super model. Not fair for the rest of us. Love you!

Baby Charlotte

I get so excited when a close friend asks me to do their newborn pictures. There is something emotional about witnessing your friends becoming parents, maybe because my feelings during those first shaky weeks as a new mom are still so vivid to me. My friends seem to be handling new parenthood like pros, not surprisingly! Baby Charlotte was a dream. She's got her daddy's smile and her mom's porcelain skin. I can't wait to watch this little cutie grow up!

It was such a treat meeting baby Charlotte and her proud parents. She looked so adorable all snuggled up with her cute headband on but when she opened her eyes, looked up at me and SMILED, I almost died! Absolutely precious.

Eleanor 6 Months

So excited to check in with this sweet girl as she reached her 6 month milestone! Although she made me work for it, Eleanor finally flashed me her shy smile as she proudly showed off her new skills- sitting up all by herself! I just couldn't get enough of those eyes with their big beautiful lashes.

Baby Eleanor

So excited for my friend Allie to welcome her 2nd baby home! Baby E made her debut and Grace could not have been more proud of her new title as big sister! I was so impressed to witness her completely silly side transform into almost revery as she stared down at her tiny sister. As 1 of 5 girls in my family I know how special the bond of sisterhood is and I'm excited for these two to experience that!

Allie and Stephen- thanks for having me back to capture the next chapter for your family. Congrats on another beautiful baby girl! 

Baby Jackson

I love getting to capture a baby's first pictures as a newborn and then coming back to see them in action as an older sibling! You never know what their reaction to the new kid in town will be but big brother James was all about his lil bro! I know there are lots of good times ahead for these two boys and this new family of four.

Congrats Jessica and Andy! Jackson was a total rockstar!

Anulewicz Family

As the song in the slideshow says, it was a beautiful day hanging with the Anulewicz Family. I truly enjoyed getting ta small glimpse of the great love the is family shares for each other. Sylvia's First Communion was the occasion that prompted the pictures so I loved capturing the sparkle in her eye, and the details of her gorgeous dress, recreated from her mother's wedding gown- how special is that?!

Baby Julia

I have been anxiously awaiting the arrival of my best friend's third baby and it's.... another precious girl! That makes 3 lovely ladies for the Allman crew and they are all so gorgeous. I love taking pictures of them because they make my job easy :) Baby Julia was no exception and slept perfectly for me the whole time. She only opened her yes for 2 minutes, when she flashed me that chubby cheeked smile!

Leo 7 Months!

One of my favorite shoots this year... 7 months of smooth porcelain skin, chubby thighs and a barrel of belly laughs- yes please! I could have gone on for hours with this little guy! Absolutely edible.

Sweet Sophie

I had the best day hanging out with sweet little Sophie and her mom and dad. Not only did she sleep so good, all curled up for me, but she also didn't hold back any smiles! Mom's gonna have it made with pictures of this girl cause she was smirking all day long, which is so rare! You can tell she's quite happy in her new home :)

Baby Landry!

SO excited to meet the newest member of the Turner Fam- sweet baby Landry! It felt like yesterday that I was shooting his big brother's newborn pictures... I guess time flies when you're having fun! This little boy is too cute for words- I mean can you handle those cheeks?! Big brother was cracking me up– I mean scaring me– with his loud ROARS. I'm not sure if he stood still long enough to notice Landry but I'm sure they'll be best buds soon enough.

Ben and Emmy- thanks for inviting me back to capture this new chapter for your family. You guys are making this transition to 2 look waaay too easy!

Baby Braxton

Baby Braxton is here! First off, how much do you love that name?! And his nursery- the awesome sliding barn doors, and mix of rustic and industrial flavors are just as unique as his name. This boy is gonna be one cool kid! I loved capturing the realness in this family as they held their new baby. He was certainly the most comfortable and at ease when in mom or dad's arms. Can't blame him there!

Emilia is 1!!

I just can't get enough of this adorable baby girl, and that's why her 1 year photos are somewhat bittersweet! I loved getting to check in on her every six months to see how much she's grown. This time, the biggest change was her amazing flowing locks! This girl has more hair than some of my friends, and definitely my husband! But as lovely as her hair is, it's her smiles that lights up the room (or tepee I should say).

Jessica and Matt, I have enjoyed each one of our milestone shoots documenting sweet Emilia's first year. She is an amazing, happy and affectionate girl with awesome parents :) Thanks for coming out on such a cold day, not to mention dragging all those cool props with you. You are all troopers! Enjoy!

Baby Graham

Last time I saw Hana, she was the sleepy, snuggly, nakey baby all curled up. Two years later, this busy girl was anything but sleepy! She popped in every now and then to check on us, but left Graham to be the star of the show. Graham was the typical second child- looked at his big sister skeptically, like why are you always moving?! And then went back to sleep. He was a champ for me and even though I tried, he only smiled for mommy and daddy- can't blame him for that!

Baby Knox

I couldn't be more excited to share these images of one of my favorite new families of 3! Sweet little Knox was the answer to many prayers and I can say for sure that he was worth the wait! He was such a champ for me, sleeping like an angel through the whole session. As hard as I tried, the only smiles came when he was curled up in mom or dad's hands and I can't blame him for that.

Baby Miles

Couldn't be prouder of my first post in the new year! The Roberts family is as sweet as they come. Miles was the perfect baby and even though I hadn't seen big sister Sloan since her own newborn photos 2+ years ago, I fell in love with her all over again. I was so impressed at how good she was with her tiny little brother, holding him so gently and planting dozens of sweet kisses on his head. I know he is in good hands as this family transitions to a family of four.

Catherine and Matt, thanks for having me back to capture this new chapter for you guys. Let me know when my little protégé is serious about her photography carer ;)

Baby Maggie

It was almost exactly 2 years ago on a snowy morning that I photographed the littlest baby I have ever met. Now, Grayson is all grown up and a proud big brother! Sweet Maggie was another rock star like her brother. Never made a peep- just curled up and made heart melting little coos. I love this family and they have made the transition to 2 look super smooth and easy.

Liz and Tyler, thank you for including me again in such a fun and special time for your family. Maggie is perfect and she's lucky to have you both and Grayson to take such good care of her :)

Baby Eleanor

Every time another beautiful baby is welcomed into this world, I am reminded of how lucky I am to be one the first to meet them. Sweet Baby Eleanor literally was like a doll baby. She had the most tiny, petite features and was completely relaxed, whether awake or asleep. I love when babies make my job so easy!
