Another awesome Christmas shoot with one of my favorite families! Over the last five years, I have had the pleasure of watching the Brezina Family change and grow. The very first session I did with them was of their first born son, who was six months old at the time. Now, Gregory is practically a man! It is so sweet to see the way he looks up to his Dad and is so protective over his little sister. Patty, it is truly an honor to meet back up with you all every year. I love seeing you and capturing these sweet little moments of your adorable family!

Baby Holland
These are the moments that make me remember how much I love what I do! I shot Kelley and Jon's wedding back in 2007 and now, five years later, I am ecstatic to meet their precious baby girl. Revisiting clients to see how their lives have changed after so many years is one of my favorite parts of this job. Baby Holland is just about the cutest thing I have ever seen! She was so good for us- so sleepy and relaxed, especially in momma's arms. Kelley and Jon- congratulations on your beautiful little girl. Enjoy every minute with her!

Oliver Family
I am so excited to post these images from my latest session with the Olivers! We have a new winner for Best Dressed! Perfectly styled and coordinated-aren't they classy?! The pop of red is such a nice complement to the warm fall colors. It was so fun watching Carter light up as he looked at and played with (and drooled on) his parents. Drea, thank you for inviting me to capture these fun memories for you and your family. Enjoy!

Coppedge Family
Another great Fall Family Session! With wonderful weather, the perfect backdrop, and this adorable family, I knew these pictures were going to come out great. Little Evie was so full of life and excitement just before she celebrated her big first birthday. What a cutie! You can just see her eyes light up when she looks at mom or dad. Rebecca, thank you so much for inviting me to spend some time with you and your family. I hope you enjoy these little moments with Evie for a long time to come!

Collins Family
It was a beautiful fall day when I met up with the Collins Family at the Huntcliff Stables. I am a huge horse over so I was especially excited about this shoot! When I got there, Lauren introduced me to Gizmo, our tour guide for the day. Gizmo was quite the entertaining horse- I swear he was actually posing for some of the pictures! I could tell right away that Lauren is a big animal lover. It was great to see her in her element- Gizmo's rein in one hand and Holly in the other. Kim, thank you for giving me the opportunity to capture such a fun and memorable day with your family.

Grace & Katherine: Little Princesses
Every time I do a shoot with the Weeks girls we always have a blast, but I have to say I think this shoot was one of my favorites. We met at the beautiful Oglethorpe campus, where the world was full of imagination. At first, we pretended to be students and that the campus bells ringing meant it was time for class. But as the sun lowered in the sky and the girls changed to their beautiful white gowns, the bells meant it was time for the ball! Oglethorpe was our very own castle and the girls were its princesses. I had so much fun with them because it brought me back to the days when my little sisters pranced around the house looking for their prince charming. So sweet! Julie, I hope you enjoy the photos as much as I did taking them. There are some absolutely gorgeous shots!

Julia Lauren and Michelle: SENIORS!
I have thought about shooting my sister's senior portraits for a looong time. As I sit here looking through the images, I can barely believe that we are actually there, and she is about to graduate in the spring! She is more beautiful now than I even thought she would be. My little baby sister, all grown up! We had so much fun gallivanting around downtown Norcross with her two best friends, Lauren and Michelle. It was a gorgeous day to shoot some gorgeous girls! These three are like peas in a pod... I don't know who had more fun- them goofing off together, or me watching them. I can't even tell you how much I love these images- I actually think they are some of the best I've taken :)
Girls, I hope you enjoy these images as much as I did taking them. Documenting this fun-filled and exciting year in your lives was also a wonderful memory for me. Good luck with senior year and every year after that!

Mancini Family
The Mancini's have been family friends for a long time so it was such a treat to get together with them. We had a gorgeous day to frolic around the Oglethorpe Campus, capturing their fun family dynamic. The boys were the perfect combination of sweet and playful. I especially loved capturing their silly interactions with each other- you can tell how much they love their brother! Michelle, thank you for inviting me to create some wonderful memories for your adorable family. Enjoy!

The Allman Family
When one of my closest friends, Lauren asked me to take family portraits for her I was excited and nervous at the same time. Excited because I always have such a great time with them, and their little girl, Lanier, is both adorable and hysterically funny. Nervous because Lauren is probably my most creative friend with great vision, so I knew she would have high expectations. The scenery couldn't have been more beautiful, up in the mountains of Utana Bluffs. I tried to capture a typical day: hanging around the house, walking the trails, picking fresh vegetables out of the garden, and enjoying the simple pleasures in life! Lauren and Daniel, thank you for inviting us to spend the weekend with you- we had a great time! I hope you enjoy these pictures and the wonderful memories of your time in the mountains.

Edward Wilson
I so enjoyed meeting Amanda and her precious baby Ward. This little guy didn't miss a beat! He was very intrigued by our shoot, and made sure to stay awake for the whole thing. Even though he didn't let his guard down enough to fall asleep, he couldn't have been happier just hanging out with us. And let me tell you, I was seriously impressed by this guy's neck muscles! He was determined to hold his head up on his own, which he did easily. Amanda, you were such a pleasure to work with. Thank you for inviting me to your home to capture these precious and fleeting moments of your newborn baby boy.

Haas Family 2012
As always, it is a joy to see my friend Sarah and her sweet family. It has certainly changed a bit since I first shot Reilly's newborn pictures more than 3 years ago! I can hardly catch up to her now and little brother William wishes he could too. We had a blast playing around the Square and wrapped up just before the raindrops started to fall! Sarah, thank you again for inviting me to capture another new and exciting year for your family.

Alexis: Senior Portraits
I barely recognized Alexis, all grown up- a senior in high school! I'm pretty sure the last time I saw her she was running around her front yard playing tag or picking up some weird species of insect. Let's just say it's been a while. So it was truly a pleasure seeing her again and the lovely lady she has become. Alexis, I can tell in just our short time together that you are a beautiful person inside and out! I hope you enjoy these images and your last year of high school. Good luck with your college decision!

Ruby's 1st Birthday
Tara and Andy, thank you for including me on such an exciting day for little Ruby! She was such a trooper as we trekked through the jungle of mosquitoes in the crazy Atlanta heat! When she finally got her sweet reward, I think she thought it was worth it ;) Congratulations on a wonderful year with your cutie and here's to many more fun times ahead!

Riley Miller Senior Portraits
It was so nice catching up with Riley at the Smyrna Market Village. A little shy at first, she warmed up as we walked around the square, dodging the rain clouds (phew!). A senior at Blessed trinity, Riley is a sweet girl and talented writer. I was blown away when her mom showed me the hard cover book that Riley had written in her spare time. How cool is that?! She even did the illustration on the front cover. I was very impressed. Riley, enjoy your senior year and good luck with your college decision!

Grace & Katherine Weeks
I am always so excited to meet up with the Weeks family! When Grace an Katherine came running to greet me with their arms outstretched for a hug, I knew it was going to be a good day. Grace was one of my very first clients, more than 4 years ago! It has been an absolute pleasure watching these two precious girls grow up. It is a great feeling to know that they look forward to seeing me as well. As we walked around the park, even the people walking by couldn't help but comment on how beautiful these girls are. Julie, thank you for inviting me back once more to capture Grace and Katherine in their glory. Enjoy!

Thorp Family
A couple weeks ago I got to meet back up with a family I have been shooting for 3 years now! When I first met little Leighton, he was proudly showing off his new skill: sitting up straight! Almost three years later, I could barely keep up with him as he ran and jumped all over the Smyrna Market Village. I love it when I can remember how tiny they used to be and see how much they've grown and changed over the years. Leighton is one of the most happy go lucky little boys you'll ever meet - it's hard to get a bad picture of him. Raegan, thank you for inviting me capture your beautiful family for another year. I am so honored to be able to freeze life's little moments for you!

Digby Family
I had the absolute pleasure of strolling around with the Digby Family on a sunny Saturday morning. These are the days when I remember how much I love what I do! Brooke is a long time college friend so I knew I wouldn't have anything to worry about if her family was as sweet as she is. And I was right! These people are so fun to be around that I almost forget I am working ;) You can tell from the photos how easy-going this family is and how naturally they fit together. Only one thing would have made the afternoon even more perfect... mimosas all around! Brooke, thank you for inviting me to share a day with your family- it was an honor!

Paige + Bryan
I was thrilled to meet up with Paige and Bryan at the Botanical Gardens, where they will be tying the knot in just 8 short months! I have to say this was one of the easiest engagement sessions I have done, thanks to Paige and Bryan's fun, easy going spirits and their obvious joy at simply being together. Bryan was a natural in front of the camera... his only complaint the entire session was that we didn't have a soundtrack to liven up the mood. Cue the iphone. In no time he had Party Rock Anthem playing in the background. No wonder Paige loves being with this guy!
Thank you both for inviting me to share such a fun and exciting time in your lives. I wish you all the happiness in the world. You're going to LOVE married life!

A Valentine for my Valentine
On this special day, I'd like to thank my hubby, Brett, for being the incredible man he is. He's my best friend, my hero, my world. He's given me the happiest times of my life and I am so lucky to have him.

Baby Keaton
It was so great meeting back up with Kay Lynn and her two beautiful boys. The last time I saw her, we were taking maternity pictures of her first so I was so excited to see how grown up little Bowen was. The proud older brother, you can tell how much he loves his new playmate. And so do I! I have to say that sweet Keaton was one of the easiest newborns I have ever worked with. He couldn't have been more laid back, which makes my job super easy! Kay Lynn, thank you for inviting me back to your home to capture this fleeting moment of newborn preciousness :)
